Our Heart for Expansion

We really are literally living in miracle days.

As we live ‘Presenced’ this year, we’re reminded that His generosity allows us to expand God's presence around us and advance His Kingdom through us. Generosity is at the heart of who we are as followers of Jesus — and the amazing thing is, as we give of ourselves, we become more like Jesus, whose boundless generosity changed the world. Proverbs 11 tells us the world of the generous grows larger and larger—not just in resources, but in love, influence, and impact.

As you hear more about this vision, I invite you to join with us and prayerfully consider the part you will play. Whether a one-time gift or committing to give over the coming months, the generosity of us all is going to empower us as a church to reach people and expand God’s Kingdom.

We’re in this together, and I believe that as we stay faithful and activate our generosity, we’ll see lives transformed, communities changed, and the Kingdom of God advance like never before. Our Facilities Miracle Journey

Our miracle journey unexpectedly began in October 2020 when we received notice from the landlord to vacate our current venue by March 2021. Amidst negotiations and the hunt for our next home, God had already begun working behind the scenes, weaving a miracle in motion.

In Jan 2021 one phone called changed our history forever. Our Sims St location was revealed to us for the first time and straight away we knew, God was in this. The journey has been God- breathed from the very beginning. Click below to see where it all began and follow an interactive timeline.

What is Expansion?

Expansion is about extending the reach of our church—not funding daily operations, but advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth.

It’s about people—those carrying the vision and those we’re called to reach, across generations.

Our Expansion Offering is an invitation to partner financially by sowing into three key areas of growth in our church:

Expansion '24 Highlights

Through the generosity and faithfulness of our church in our 2024 Expansion Offering, we saw over $2.2 million committed. This offering has equipped us to advance our impact by expanding upon our many community initiatives, spreading our Kingdom influence, and stepping into our new miracle home here at Sims St.

Some highlights to celebrate from our 2024 Expansion Campaign:

This year, we doubled our Help & Hope Weeks, with 540 incredible volunteers completing 47 projects - bringing practical help and heartfelt connection to over 3,570 people in our community

We’ve reacquired the corner single-storey tenancy at Sims St, now actively used for our expanding mid-week programs and the growing Sunday EPIC Yth services

Launched Embrace Life – a meaningful program supporting precious mums with practical care and community

Launched a brand new Community Kitchen in Broadmeadows and launched a new Breakfast Club in St Albans. Now serving hot, fresh meals across 5 locations, we’ve extended our reach and provided 17,569 meals to people in need.

We've seen a growing engagement through Red Frogs engaging with over 1000 students and young adults while going into university spaces, festivals and various party scenes across Melbourne

Over 4,000 people attended our Easter weekend 33AD production and Sunday services

Jesus Hope for All – Water tower signage permit has been secured once and for all! Thank you Jesus!

We exceeded our goal of $1 million paid off the principal of our Sims St loan, as we continue to take steps towards the Decade of Destiny

How to Play Your Part

Becoming an Expansion Partner is about saying yes – yes to building God’s house, reaching our city, and bringing help and hope to those who need it most. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a regular contribution, your generosity will enable the vision of Expansion to be achieved over the next 12 months.

What You Need to Know:

> An Expansion Partner is any individual, couple, or family who gives into Expansion.We encourage everyone—kids and teens included—to pray and partner with us in faith as we take this step together as a whole church.

> EXPANSION ‘25 runs over 12 months (July 2025 - June 2026)

As a church, we’ve always lived by the statement: if we do what God asks us to do, we will get what God wants us to get. Take time to pray and ask God what He is leading you to give across the Expansion 2025/26 period. Every step of faith matters – no matter the amount.

Ways to Give
