We believe in giving out of conviction, not compulsion.

what is a tithe?

A tithe simply means a "tenth" — our tangible, obedient response to God's command to bring the first tenth of our income into the storehouse.

We don't tithe to "get"; we tithe to glorify God and live in alignment with His word. And His promise is that our obedience brings divine protection and provision.

What about offerings?

Offerings are our free-will giving, over and above the tithe.

God speaks about the principles of sowing and reaping in every area of our lives — including our finances. Prayerfully, intentionally, and responsibly consider what you give, according to your personal conviction. We don't advise going into debt to give — but ultimately, this is between you and God.

It's a pleasure not a pressure

At LIFE, we believe it's our privilege to honour God through our tithes and offerings.

The posture of our heart matters — as 1 Corinthians 9 reminds us, "God loves a cheerful giver." When we consider how our giving enables people to receive, gather, be cared for, find a home, and discover Jesus, it really is a joy.

What are the consequences either way?

At LIFE, we do not differentiate in our care for anyone based on giving.

Giving is a personal matter between you and God — whether you follow this or decide against it. We will continue to love and support every person in our church, regardless of whether they give or how much.
