How I found Life reminds me that He is the author of my story and that He leads me every step of the way. I just need to follow.

Earlier this year, following God’s calling I moved to Victoria. I Arrived during lockdown, and had been watching the online service of my previous church. But it was on my heart to be connected to a great local church that I could belong to, that supports me, where I can serve and also fits in God’s plan for me. After a couple of weeks I dug out the email from a dear friend of mine in which she forwarded the Easter Sunday promotional email from her cousin’s church in Melbourne.

I decided to attend one service of that church LIFE and see how it was like; the sermon was delivered by pastor Paul who was once a guest speaker at my previous church in Brisbane!

I kept attending and felt more and more sure this is the place to call home. I was welcomed warmly by Ps Craig & Nadia in the online welcome lounge and learned that there is a business group that meets regularly to support and encourage each other. I run my own business so a church that recognises the value of marketplace ministry and supports that fits in with God’s plan for me. I plugged in a sistas group and was well accepted, appreciated and supported. Before I knew it, Life became home.

I am so grateful for LIFE and being led to LIFE. I’ve met so many wonderful, devout followers of Christ that really helped and encouraged me to grow as a Christian. I am also really grateful and greatly motivated by the Kingdom Focus of the church.
Realising that gives me great encouragement and leaves me stand in awe of God’s majestic plan and power.
I look forward to the journey ahead that is going to unfold and as written in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
