Tricky Chats: Parenting in the Digital Age – All Things Screens, Sex & Safety
Led by Jo Robertson, a qualified sex therapist with a Master of Science in Medicine, this course dives into the complex world that children are growing up in today. With expertise in adolescence, online sexual content, and its impact on mental wellbeing, sex, trauma, and relationships, Jo brings both professional insight and practical tools for modern parenting.
In this session, parents will gain a deeper understanding of the online and offline challenges kids face—from screen time and social media to exposure to sexual content. You’ll learn how to identify potential risks and respond with confidence and care.
Most importantly, you’ll walk away with a clear roadmap for the key conversations to have with your child—covering topics like sex, bodies, consent, digital safety, and emotional wellbeing.
