About the Team

About the Team

Our Sunday teams create an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. We intentionally invest into the lives of our children through worship, videos, connect groups, games, craft activities and more. 

Our age groups & kids teams are as follows:  Cubby House  • 1 year old’s  • 2-3 year old’s  • 4-5 year old’s 

Base Camp  • Junior Base Camp: Prep – Grade 4  • Senior Base Camp: Grade 5 & 6 

Lighthouse  Our lighthouse team help create an environment for children who require additional support to encounter the real love of Jesus. This is done by helping them integrate into our adventure kid’s services with 1:1 support and specific lighthouse curriculum 

Other Kids Teams  • Parents Lounge (hosting families with kids under 1)  • Kids Registrations & Check Out  • Kids Operations  •We have volunteer and leadership positions available. 

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children & young people who attend our Sunday services and other events. As part of this commitment, we adhere to the ACC Child Protection Policy and the 11 Child Safe Standards. We require all Adventure Kids team volunteers to sign a code of conduct and hold a valid Working With Children’s Check (VIC).

What We Do

• Provide an opportunity for our Kids to Love God and Love Church.
• Set a fun atmosphere that encourages faith and healthy relationships.
• Facilitate activities throughout our Sunday programmes.
• Invest in connecting with kids and their families.
• Disciple the next generation through bible stories, memory verses and connect groups.

Did You Know?

We aim to operate on a ratio of 1:5 within our preschool age group and 1:8 within our primary age group so that we can effectively disciple the next generation. We're looking for 50+ people to join our teams as we continue to grow!

Once submitted, our department leaders will be in touch to find the best fit for you and for us. Keep in mind, some teams require specific skills or must have’s in order to join. E.g. both our performing arts and worship teams require auditions. For kids or youth, you will need to provide a Working with Children check.
