TEAM: Car Park Team

DESCRIPTION: This team is frequently the first to interact with people at LIFE. As a team we strive to remove stress from finding a park while providing a warm welcome to those coming to church. We require operational thinking combined with excellect communication skills. Parking is a key aspect of someone’s overall church experience.

COMMITMENT: Sunday services; On rotation once every 3 week

TEAM: Security

DESCRIPTION: This team makes sure LIFE is a safe environment for all those coming to church. We cover facilities from kids church to car parks at our Sunday services and other events. We require confident friendly people with excellent discernment.

TEAM: Info Desk

DESCRIPTION: This team is the one stop shop to gain information about what’s going on at LIFE, from finding out about a Group to registering for an event. We require people with excellent communication skills in order to provide those seeking information with a warm engaging, seamless experience.

TEAM: Service Hosts

DESCRIPTION: This team prepares people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

TEAM: Catering / Hospitality

DESCRIPTION: This team helps prepare food that is handed out after services to provide a great environment for connection. It often involves handing the food out to people during this connection time also.

TEAM: Café

DESCRIPTION: Coffee is essential in our world today! This team involves two roles, which includes the taking of orders and handling finance, and then the crucial role of the barista. Both roles can be taught.

TEAM:  Communion Set Up 

DESCRIPTION: This team serves behind the scenes to prepare both the bread, juice and the environment for communion during our Sunday communion services.

TEAM: Worship

Our desire is to give our best for God, and believe that when we do, it creates a platform for our church to worship God. We cover every service at LIFE from Sunday, in each Campus, to youth and kids services, as well as every conference and most events we run. Opportunities exist as a musician, vocalist, or lyrics operator.

If you are passionate and willing to share who God is to you through acting, dancing, styling, painting, drawing, designing, acting, makeup, stage construction, writing, and other practical creative areas, then the thriving and innovative creative team is for you! For some teams, prior experience is recommended.

Our team provides a solid foundation within services, conferences and events through sound, lighting, live video, and visual media systems. There’s an opportunity for anyone, whether experienced or new to the production world.

Our Video & Photography crew are responsible for creative, unforgettable and engaging content, taking our services, events and communication to a new level. If you’re interested in photography, filming, editing, animating, or assisting on video shoots, we’d love to hear from you.

TEAM: Welcome Team

DESCRIPTION: The Welcome Team at LIFE is the first point of contact the congregation receives as they arrive into the buildings. This team is all about providing a warm and inclusive welcome and farewell to everyone arriving and departing the Sunday Services. We try to keep it a light and fun-loving atmosphere.

TEAM: Sunday Connection Team

DESCRIPTION: This team exists to ensure everyone walking through our doors receive a warm welcome and is made to feel at home, whether it’s their first time at LIFE or if they have been here for years. We want to put people at ease setting them up for a great day in church. We also seek to help people connect to best-fitting areas of LIFE.

TEAM: Meals Team

DESCRIPTION: This is the team who makes meals for those in need. This includes new mums, those who are unwell and going through difficult life circumstances. It could involve dropping meals off to people or bringing frozen meals to church.

TEAM: NEXT STEPS Team

DESCRIPTION: This team helps to prepare and facilitate a friendly and welcoming environment for those attending our NEXT STEPS course. In this team, we require people who can administer and organise the courses, and people who are effective at connecting with those attending.

TEAM: Adventure Kids

Our Sunday teams create an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. We intentionally invest into the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games, and more. We also have mid-week teams who help with preparation.

TEAM: Epic (School Years 7-12)

DESCRIPTION: Our highschoolers meet every Friday night for Epic – a night of worship, life-changing messages, fun activities and great people. We require teams to help with check-in, set up and pack down of the services, organising games, security and running of the programme.

TEAM: Christmas Box

DESCRIPTION: Christmas Box exists because we believe no one should be deprived the joy of sharing Christmas with their nearest and dearest, and this conviction has seen over 86,000 Christmas Boxes distributed to families in need over the last 16 years. Come and be part of the movement that is Christmas Box. Pack boxes on the day. Help us with sponsorship, administration or team building.
