About The Team

The shuttle bus team is your friendly connection between Kensington Street and the church! We’re here to ensure everyone arrives with ease and comfort, greeting many with a warm smile and a cheerful "hello" as we help them on their journey. 

Our mission is to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, especially those with mobility challenges and families with little ones. 

Safety is our top priority. We manage the flow of passengers with care, making sure everyone is secure while boarding and disembarking. Whether it’s their first visit or they are a familiar face, we’re dedicated to making every ride enjoyable and uplifting. With our shuttle bus team, we aim to turn transportation into a delightful part of the church experience!

What We Do

Kensington Signage Setup: We put up clear and inviting signs at Kensington Street to help everyone find their way easily.

Warm Welcomes and Farewells: Our team loves to greet passengers with a friendly welcome as they arrive and share heartfelt farewells as they depart, fostering a sense of community.

Assistance On and Off the Shuttle: We provide hands-on help to ensure everyone can safely board and disembark from the shuttle bus, especially for those who may need extra support.

You have the option to join us as either a shuttle bus assistant or a driver! As an assistant, you’ll help passengers by opening and closing the shuttle doors. As a driver, you’ll safely transport passengers between Kensington Street and LIFE Church, ensuring a friendly and secure ride.

Did You Know?

This team is fairly new and has just started this year at LIFE Church. It's so good to see the church grow, however whilst the church is growing, we also want to make room in the car park for new people. So having the shuttle bus team is so important as it transports our members to and from Kensington Street to LIFE Church. 

Through rain or shine, our shuttle bus team is unwavering in our mission to make every passenger feel right at home on Sundays. We collaborate to create smooth and enjoyable experiences, all while sharing laughter and friendship as a team. From helping passengers board to offering heartfelt welcomes and farewells, we take immense pride in the connections we foster with everyone.

Once submitted, our department leaders will be in touch to find the best fit for you and for us. Keep in mind, some teams require specific skills or must have’s in order to join. E.g. both our performing arts and worship teams require auditions. For kids or youth, you will need to provide a Working with Children check.
