"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16

God loves you deeply and wants the very best for your life.

He reveals His love, purpose, and hope through Jesus Christ. What follows is an explanation of who Jesus is and what it means to know Him personally.

Who is Jesus?

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God — fully God and fully human — who came into the world to reveal what God is like and to restore humanity’s relationship with Him.

The Bible describes Him as “the image of the invisible God”1 and “the Word” who was with God and was God from the beginning2. Born into history, Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, teaching truth, demonstrating compassion, and performing miracles that revealed God’s power and love. Though He had no sin, He willingly died on the cross3 in our place, taking the penalty for our wrongdoing. Three days later, He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death once and for all4. Because of this, Jesus is not only a teacher or prophet — He is Saviour and Lord, the only way to be reconciled to God 5.

What Difference Does Jesus Make?

What Difference Does Jesus Make?

Through Jesus, forgiveness is freely given and new life begins.

We are saved by grace through faith — not by earning it1. When we trust Him, we become a new creation2, made right with God3, and given the gift of eternal life4. Jesus brings peace for today, purpose for our lives, and hope that extends beyond this world.

RECEIVING GOD'S GIFT OF SALVATION

Jesus is For You

Jesus is not an extension or an add-on to our life; He wants to be at the core of who we are. He wants to lead us in a whole new spiritual life of joy and peace through relationship with Him. If you have not accepted God’s forgiveness or surrendered your life to Him and His perfect plans, you can do this right now by praying these words.

Dear Jesus,

I bring my life before You today. I’m sorry that you have not been at the centre of my life. I’m sorry for all the wrong things that I’ve done living without you. Today, I make a decision to turn my back on my sins and turn towards You. I believe you died on the cross and rose again for me, and I accept Your death as a sacrifice for my sins. Please forgive me and be the Lord of my life. I want to know You and live for You for the rest of my life.

Amen.

Faith is a journey, and it’s not meant to be walked alone.

Finding a church community helps you grow, stay encouraged, and build meaningful connections. There’s a place for you right here at LIFE—we’d love to welcome you this Sunday!
